Summer Bucket List: 2014

Summer is finally here! As summers always do, it's going to be gone in no time! We always like to keep a list of activities to do before the summer fades into fall. Honestly, summer is SO awesome. There are so many fun things to do and since the weather is amazing, so many outdoor activities as well. We are here to share our Krimson & Klover 2014 Summer Bucket list with you. Let us know what's on  your list as well! 

1. Stand-up Paddle Boarding or SUP- perfect for those hot summer days! 

2. Try yoga- great way to relax and get a workout in the heat! 

3. Have a BBQ with friends

4. Go to a state fair or carnival- perfect in the summer with a crush! 

5. Lay in a hammock- HELLO summer naps!

6. Go camping- Summer is the best time for this with friends!

7. Go to the beach/lake/pool- this is a must! 

8. Have a picnic- how romantic!

9. Go out for ice cream at least twice- No brainer!

10. Eat lots and lots of watermelon! 

11. Watch a sunset

12. See a firework show! 

13. Run a 5k - bikini bodies! 

14. Attend an outdoor concert

15. Make smores over a campfire!

As summer is here and the weather is heating up more and more, you can spend a lot of time outside doing things that were after wintertime like swimming, traveling, cycling and many other activities. It is pretty well known that summertime feelings got hotter than in other seasons of the year and people are like much more confident – thanks to the sunny days that can make even a grouchy person happy and smiley. When it comes to summer, you will definitely think about how to refresh yourself, your wardrobe, to keep up with the latest trends that make you feel good in every way.
Music and especially music videos are one of the most influential tools in the entertainment industry that affect people in many ways. Obviously this blog post will focus on fashion that in one part or another had an impact on both teenagers and young adult women who are into fashion and love to look always chic.

Can you really believe that 8 years ago, this song was such a big hit all around the world? Well, not only the song made a history with its catchy notes, but the music video itself deserves to be mentioned as well. The idea of the music video was that tropical and exotic air where the whole scene took place, to make you daydream about summer and beach. That green cut-out dress that Rihanna wore in the music video probably blew out every girl’s mind and made it to everyone’s must have list. Surely a short green dress is a good call for hot, summer days, regardless on the events are you going.

Cher Lloyd – With Ur Love
The British singer became successful due to her unconventional sense of style despite of her young age and created a huge fandom all across the States. Among her numerous outfits, there is one that is extremely lovely and can be worn to diverse events, family dinners, lunch with your boyfriend, wherever you want. The recipe is simple: a beige skater dress, a blue tank top and a black moto jacket and the key to the success is done.

Taylor Swift – 22
Taylor Swift makes herself one of most loveable artists among teenagers due to her grown-up personality and her unique way of dressing up. It looks like the favorite style of Taylor is preppy; she likes tops with stripes, also monochrome and bright colors make a great part of her wardrobe. The outfit she has in the music video ‘22’ is simple and can be adopted easily into any summer wear.

Your Sexy Summer Sandals

So last week there was a post similar to this on Summer Sunnies. We are continuing down the path towards SUMMER! Now let's chat about the next summer essential: sandals. There are so many cute styles we've seen out this season. From straps to wedges, there is something out there for everyone. Sandals can dress up or dress down any outfit as well. They go perfect with Krimson & Klover dresses, jumpsuits and shorts. 

Here are some style options we are loving:

1. The Wedge

This is instant chic and girly. We are loving wedges because they give your leg the look of a high heel and way less pressure on your feet. So many kinds to choose from that you are sure to find something to go with your Krimson & Klover summer dress.

Time to Think Inside the Box!

You know that age old expression think outside the box? Well I am here to tell you that it is time to start to THINK INSIDE THE BOX!

This sudden love of thinking inside the box of mine came with my new found knowledge of subscription boxes! No idea what a subscription box is? – no worries, I hadn’t the slightest what they were when I first heard the term. Subscription boxes are possibly one of the BEST (yes caplocks is necessary to explain my love towards these boxes) manmade creations ever. Bold statement, I am aware of that but I’m willing to fight it! Well that is of course until cloning Ryan Gosling becomes a thing – now that would be man’s best creation. Till that day subscription boxes will hold the title of most genius idea in my books!

Subscription boxes are just as they sound. Boxes that you subscribe to and receive, the exact same as you would a magazine. A new box comes right to your door step monthly! These boxes are filled with a variety of little goodies for you to try and test.

The idea behind a subscription box is that you will receive a certain number (generally between 5-10) of sample products to try before you go out and spend all your precious dollar bills on a full size product only to realize it was a complete waste of money. It also allows you to try other product you may never heard of that you may adore! So it’s basically all around win-win (like I said GENIUS IDEA).

Not all boxes come with sample products, some boxes are filled with craft supplies and instructions on how to create a craft with the given supplies. Some contain ingredients and a recipe for you to create some mouth watering concoctions.
