$#*! Jennifer Lawrence Says...

I love J Law! And I love the $#*! she says. Its the kind of laughing so hard you snort milk out of your nose funny!
I feel like girls (including moi!) love this girl not just for her movie roles but for what she says during interviews and at award shows! Shall we review some of her priceless one-liners?

$#*! J Lawrence says

10. “Teenagers only have to focus on themselves – its not until we get older that we realize that other people exist.”

9. “He was at a party, and I turned into a perverted guy. I was like following him into rooms and staring at his ass…He asked me if I was on mushrooms and I said, ‘No. I’m dead sober. This is just me.’” - Referring to meeting (stalking) John Stamos at a party while being interviwed by Conan

8. “I’m a horrible dancer! I’m like a dad at prom. I look like Gumby getting electrocuted.” – so I guess no dance floor for J Law

7."Food is one of my favorite parts of the day!" -- Preach sister!

6.“I’m sorry that I hit your family. I thought I saw Honey Boo Boo.” – while being interviewed by Jay Leno

5.“If I don’t have anything to do all day, I might not even put my pants on.”  -- What JLaw does in her free time..and no pants are the best pants!

4."You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell and that’s really embarrassing, but thank you.” – After she tripped onstage accepting her Best Actress award.

3."If anybody even tries to whisper the word 'diet,' I'm like, 'You can go f– yourself." -- Harper's Bazaar Magazine Interview.

2."I was surprised at how little camel toe problem there was. I was expecting a lot more."-- On her Hunger Game's costume

1."I wish this was like Mean Girl's and I could break this up and throw it at all of you!" -- While accepting her People's Choice Award

Seriously this girl is just one hilarious running commentary! You have no idea what to expect to come out of her mouth...probably why she is so freaking amazing!
Jennifer Lawrence you've got my <3

So many BOOKS so little time!

Ahh Summer is upon me and I am as free as a bird! How will I be spending my new found freedom from college life you may ask?! Or perhaps you weren’t asking but I’m as giddy as a little kid on Christmas morning, so I am going to share anyway! Summer time is my favorite for multiple reasons – an abundance of shirtless boys being about reason 1 through 5 but next would have to be my free time to read! Yes I am a book worm! I do confess. Actually, I worked at my local library for all four years of highschool! If that doesn’t scream book worm I don’t know what does! I actually sort of envisioned myself more as a sexy librarian…trust me though, in my peak of awkwardness I was far from a sexy librarian!
The summer is the perfect time to get lost in a great book! Whether at the beach, lounging by the pool or out camping in the good ol’ wilderness, a book is always great company! And for anyone who says that they don’t like reading, I don’t believe you! I think that everyone can enjoy reading you just have to find the right book for you!
So between frolicking around in the flowers, gorging on smores’, attempting to get my pasty skin a shade darker, ogling over topless boys and working to afford my love for shopping (oh and to pay for school I guess :P ) you will find me with my nose in a book!
I’m a lover of all genres! And I have begun to compile my summer reading list! So far this is what I have:

The Fault in our Stars – By John Green
Hazel Grace cancer patient hesitantly attends weekly support groups to please her over bearing mother. While at support group Hazel meets Augustus, a cancer survivor. The two become fast friends resulting in feelings Hazel has never felt before. Afraid to pursue anything more with Augustus at the fear of being a ticking time bomb just waiting to die, Hazel must face the reality of first love all while battling cancer.
What can I say, I’m a sucker for a little romance and throw in a game changer like cancer I know this is going to be one heart wrenching emotional rollercoaster. Also, with all the hype about the movie coming out I figure it must be worth the read!

Wild—By Cheryl Strayed

This is book based off the real life experience of Cheryl Strayed who hiked over 1,100 miles from Mexico to Canada, all in order to ‘save herself’. Trying to rediscover herself and face her demons, Cheryl shares her stories and experiences which range from running into wild animals, losing almost all of her toenails, not showering for weeks on end, walking close to ten miles a day and attempting to learn how to use her hiking equipment. After months with almost no one’s company but her own, Strayed learns to become at peace with herself and move on from the past that has been so tirelessly holding her down.
Perhaps I am so intrigued by this book because I like to think I’m outdoorsy? Nonetheless, I always love a good book about women learning to be at peace with themselves – cause who run the world? Girls!

Orange is the New Black – By Piper Kerman

Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison a memoir recounting Piper Kerman’s time in jail. Charged for her role in a heroin trafficking ring several years ago, Piper is sent to serve eleven months in a women’s correctional facility. There she chronicles the lives of women she meets and the bonds and friendships that are made in the most unlikely place of all.
I recently watched, okay let me rephrase that, I recently binged on Orange is the New Black TV series on Netflix in about a week. I knew the book was kicking around before the show was even created thanks to my library days but never really thought about reading it. After devouring the first season and anxiously awaiting the second I now am one eager beaver to get my hands on this memoir!

Uganda Be Kidding Me – By Chelsea Handler

The oh so freaking hilarious Chelsea Handler has done it again and has written another witty and comical best seller. This laugh so hard till your stomach hurts book is a compilation of stories of Chelsea traveling and all the utmost ridiculousness that ensues!
I have read and loved all of Chelsea’s other book and do not doubt that this one will be just as outrageous and witty. I am looking forward to laughing so hard that my stomach hurts with this read!

Before I go to Sleep – By S.J Watson

This psychological thriller is sure to be a page turner. After suffering from amnesia the main character forgets who she is on a daily basis and tries to piece her life together day after day by keeping a journal of all her memories. After learning that she is seeing the doctor who is helping her to recover she begins to form serious doubts about what she is being told regarding who she is. This fast pace novel will keep you hooked till the end.
It wasn’t until recently did I really begin to get into the thriller/suspense genre. Before I go to Sleep ranks well on a lot top thriller/suspense must read lists so I am excited to give this one a read!

Is Everyone Hanging Out without Me? (And Other Concerns) – By Mindy Kaling

Another book guaranteed to make me laugh makes my list. Mindy, the former obedient child of immigrants turned actress now comedic writer shares her observations and experiences of all things love, work, friendships and Hollywood all while proving she is perfect best friend material! A great read for anyone looking to get lost in Mindy's comical world that is trying to navigate life!
After stopping by the bookstore last week, I saw this book featured and after reading the first three pages I knew I had to add it to my list! I would have bought it right then and there, if only I had more than $3.50 in my wallet!

So far that is my list of summer reads! I can’t wait to indulge in some serious reading in the next few months! Maybe today I will drop by the bookstore to and grab one of these bad boys! Now the only question is, which one!? Like that age old expression so many books so little time!
What books are on your reading list?
Anymore suggestions for a booklover like me?
